Halloween Horror Nights fans will have a new experience to
enjoy this year as Universal Studios announced a new scare zone inspired by
Fortnitemares, the popular video game Fortnite.
Coming to the Universal Orlando Resort on August 28 and Universal
Studios Hollywood on September 3, Halloween Horror Nights will pay homage to
the game’s highly-anticipated annual event, Fortnitemares.
The scare zone will feature ever-evolving, high-stakes
environments, with theme park guests entering Freaky Fields, a
Halloween-inspired living battleground overcome with a threatening force.
Throughout the Fortnite-inspired scare zone, visitors will
encounter the Battle Bus, familiar Fortnitemares characters, and several new
additions exclusive to Halloween Horror Nights, all while working to escape and
claim victory.
Fortnite fans can support the new Halloween Horror Nights attraction
with new merchandise inspired by the scare zone, including a graphic tee, decal
set, and acrylic collectible piece.
Earlier this week, Universal Studios announced that its
newest haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights would be themed after Evil
Dead Burn, the latest film in the iconic Evil Dead franchise.
