Hilton is raising its full-year growth forecast for revenue per available room (RevPAR) after a third quarter aided by the FIFA World Cup and favorable calendar and holiday shifts.
The Virginia-based hospitality company now expects full-year 2026 system-wide RevPAR to increase between 4% and 4.5% on a comparable and currency-neutral basis compared to 2025, up from the previous estimate of 3% to 3.5%.
During its Q3 2026 earnings results revealed Tuesday, Hilton announced that diluted EPS was $2.37 for the third quarter, and diluted EPS, adjusted for special items, was $2.45, while net income for the third quarter came in at $536 million.
The hotel giant's adjusted EBITDA was $1.06 billion for the third quarter and system-wide comparable RevPAR increased 5.8 percent, on a currency-neutral basis, for the third quarter compared to the same period in 2025.
System-wide comparable RevPAR increased 5.8 percent, on a currency-neutral basis, for the third quarter compared to the same period in 2025, the company said.
The third quarter also saw Hilton approve 30,500 new rooms for development, bringing its development pipeline to 543,100 rooms as of September 30, 2026. What's more, the company added 27,000 rooms to its system.
"We delivered strong top- and bottom-line results for the third quarter that exceeded our expectations," Hilton President and CEO Christopher Nassetta said in a statement. "Our results were driven by momentum across our system, which we expect to continue for the remainder of the year and into 2027."
"We achieved our highest quarter ever for organic openings, and the continued quarterly sequential increases give us confidence in delivering net unit growth around the midpoint of our 6% to 7% full-year guidance range," added Nassetta.
Looking ahead, Hilton anticipates that fourth-quarter 2026 earnings will be impacted by the midterm elections and the ongoing war in the Middle East.
