Travelers are preparing for their 2025 vacations, and the Universal
Orlando Resort is helping by announcing seasonal events and experiences for
this year, including opening dates for the popular Universal
Mardi Gras and Halloween Horror Nights.
For those who love New Orleans, Universal Orlando will host Universal
Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval, running from February 1 through
March 30. The event will boast international cuisine, parades with floats, and live
concerts.
Halloween Horror Nights returns to the Florida theme park earlier
than ever before on select nights, beginning August 29 through November 2.
Travelers will face haunted houses, scare zones, live entertainment, exclusive merchandise,
and themed food/drink offerings.
The winter holidays have become popular at Universal Orlando,
with the Holidays at Universal events kicking off November 21 and running daily
through December 31. The Christmas experiences include Christmas in The
Wizarding World of Harry Potter, meetings with the Grinch, decorations around the
destination, and holiday-themed food and beverage offerings.
Other events scheduled for 2024 include the all-new
Universal Volcano Bay Nights on select nights in April and May, the return of
Butterbeer Season on March 1, and Back to Hogwarts at The Wizarding World of
Harry Potter this fall.
Universal is also hosting holiday festivities at Universal
CityWalk and select hotels. The Florida theme park shared its upcoming 2025
event dates and theme park experiences below:
- January 24 and 25: Rock the Universe
- February 1 – March 30: Universal Mardi Gras
- April 19, 26 and May 3, 10, 17: Universal Volcano Bay Nights
- August 29 – November 2 (select nights): Halloween Horror
Nights
- November 21 – December 31: Holidays at Universal
