Porter Airlines announced new flights to Turks and Caicos this winter, launching new non-stop service to Providenciales from both Toronto Pearson(YYZ) and Ottawa (YOW).
The airline will begin flying between Toronto Pearson and Providenciales on Nov. 6 with up to five weekly flights. Ottawa travellers will gain direct access to the destination starting Dec. 17 with twice-weekly service, subject to government approval.
The new flights make Turks and Caicos the fifth new sun destination Porter has added to its winter schedule this year, following previously announced service to Aruba, San José in Costa Rica, Montego Bay and Los Cabos.

The additions build on Porter's existing leisure network, which already includes Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Nassau, Grand Cayman and Liberia.
Porter is also expanding service from Hamilton International Airport (YHM) with a new non-stop route to Tampa, Florida. Flights begin Dec. 18 and will operate four times weekly. Tampa becomes the airline's third Florida destination from Hamilton, joining Orlando and Fort Lauderdale.
The new routes will operate on Porter's 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.
