TravelPulse Quebec recently visited the legendary Los Cabos region of Mexico with Sunwing, which is the only carrier to offer a direct flight from Montreal to San José del Cabo.
The destination of Los Cabos, located on the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula in Mexico, offers unreal landscapes where the desert and the sea meet, golden sand beaches that can sometimes be perfect for surfing and diving, and other times just quiet enough for snorkeling and swimming. Cabo is a region of contrasts, where the water is transparent, but the desert is arid, and where some beaches are wild and not recommended while others are quiet and lively.

From our personal point of view, the hotel is very, very good, extremely well located, offers high quality service, spacious rooms and suites with balcony, jacuzzi and views of El Arco, and the Japanese restaurant, Mikayo, as well as the buffet (yes, yes!) is excellent. It's nice to walk down the beach to the marina to take in all the excitement of downtown.
Once at destination, we of course explore the marina and downtown Cabo, but also, we discover El Arco more closely in addition to observing whales in season during a boat excursion of a few hours which allows to see the destination from another point of view, in addition to snorkeling in a quiet bay along the coast. The activity Cabo Snorkle activity offered by Nexus Tours and sold by Sunwing is very complete, while it allows you to see and do more in just a few hours. And seeing El Arco is a must when visiting Cabo!
