The 5th edition of Confidant Connect Live, the flagship end-of-year event that aims to celebrate and thank the 100 best performing agents in the Hyatt Inclusive Collection portfolio, is being held this year at the recently opened Secrets Tulum resort.
For the occasion, 25 agents from Canada and 75 from the United States (in addition to media representatives) were invited by HIC to discover the recent Secrets Tulum complex during three days of training, conferences and festive evenings.

But the highlight of the event was the Gala evening which was held under the theme "our icons" and the agents had to dress up as their favorite icon, from any field. Sports, cinema, history, we saw it all and some gave it their all. It was hilarious!
A red carpet and paparazzi awaited the agents for the big evening which aimed to reward the top 5 agents of the year.
And, drum roll please; two Canadian agents were rewarded.

Dawn Rzepka, Senior Director of Luxe Destinations Weddings and Vikas Malhotra , Travel Expert at Itravel2000 were presented with a Confidant Care Award which rewards agents who have distinguished themselves for their work, but also for their involvement in their community or their ability to surpass themselves and do "the little extra gesture".
The evening’s U.S.-based winners: Joshua Harrell, Chief Revenue Officer of WorldVia Travel Group, Dan Smith, Owner of Destination Wedding Travel, and Sharon Benoff, Co-Owner of Vacationeeze.
This year, United Airlines was the presenting sponsor of the event. Prizes were awarded throughout the weekend, including round-trip economy and business class tickets, and the five grand prize winners from Confidant Connect Live had the choice of a one-way economy ticket on United anywhere in Canada, the United States, Mexico or Central America, a one-year Platinum status or a United Club membership.
After this gala evening, the agents were treated to high-caliber entertainment and a most festive evening.
“Every year we try to take our Confidant Connect Live event further and raise the bar, after this fifth edition we can say that we are very happy and can only hope that the one in 2025 will be full of even more surprises for the agents," said Carolina Bellina, Sales Director, Canada.
