The 5th edition of Confidant Connect Live, the flagship end-of-year event that aims to celebrate and thank the 100 best performing agents in the Hyatt Inclusive Collection portfolio, is being held this year at the recently opened Secrets Tulum resort that celebrated one year in October.
For the occasion, 25 agents from Canada and 75 from the United States (in addition to media representatives) were invited by HIC to discover the recent Secrets Tulum complex during three days of training, conferences and festive evenings.
“We’ve been hosting this year-end event, previously called Amazing Agent Celebration, for the past five years,” said Carolina Bellina, Director of Sales for Canada. “Since 2023, it’s been called Confidant Connect Live, to reflect the name of our new loyalty program. We want to encourage more agents to join the platform and program, record their sales, and hopefully invite them to our big party next year.”

To date, more than 40,000 agents are registered with Confidant Collective and the platform has seen a 19% increase in bookings in 2024.
Among other things, we learned that HIC managed to reach 45,603 agents in the United States in 2024, a jump of 14%, but in Canada, the numbers are even more impressive with a growth of 63% compared to 2023 for a total of 29,198 agents.
“We’ve hosted 36% more FAM trips in 2024, with over 10 events bringing together 250 agents, trying to take as much time as possible to meet with agents in person to build relationships,” said Lindsay Pullen, HIC’s Brand Director.
Coming in 2025
On the first day of the event, a general assembly allowed all guests to learn more about the upcoming new features for the properties.
“2024 has been a very big year for us, with the launch of the Vivid brand, the opening of flagship resorts like Secrets Tulum and Secrets Playa Blanca, and next year we have other major openings planned, without forgetting to continue to improve our current brands in order to remain as relevant as possible,” continued Pullen.
