Intrepid Travel has appointed Steven Larkin as its new Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Partnerships, North America, effective Jan. 1, 2026.

He went on to spend more than a decade with Delta Air Lines, most recently as Director of Sales for Canada. His return comes as Intrepid works toward its target of growing its North American business to $500 million by 2030.
“Steven brings an incredible mix of industry knowledge, commercial discipline, and a real passion for purpose-led travel,” said Leigh Barnes, President of the Americas for Intrepid Travel. “We have bold goals for North America, and we need a dedicated leader focused solely on winning new business. Steven knows our brand, he knows this market, and I’m thrilled to welcome him back to the Intrepid team.”
Larkin will report directly to Barnes and collaborate with North America sales leaders Matt Berna, Laura Hernandez, Caroline Tinsley, and Christian Wolters. He will not oversee existing sales teams, giving him room to focus exclusively on developing new partnerships and revenue streams.
“I’m excited to rejoin Intrepid at such a pivotal moment,” Larkin said. “There is enormous opportunity in the North American market, especially as more partners look to align with a brand that leads on responsible travel. Intrepid has incredible momentum right now, and I’m looking forward to helping drive the next phase of growth.”
His appointment comes on the heels of several wins for the company, including its expanded partnership with REI and continued growth across the United States and Canada.
