Royal Caribbean continues to make headlines as the cruise
line’s CEO announced new details for its Perfect Day Mexico project and the
company opened bookings for its Royal Beach Club Santorini.
Royal Caribbean International President and CEO Michael
Bayley spoke about the upcoming Perfect Day Mexico destination during the
cruise line’s first-quarter conference call.
“[W] e’ll be having a soft opening in Q4 ’27 [and] as we
move into ’28, we’ll be fully opening the whole experience, which is, you know,
in many ways very similar to often how we open up big attractions or big events
or new ships, for example,” Bayley said, according to Royal Caribbean Blog.
“The project is really exciting. I mean, I think what we’ve
got planned is epic in its nature,” Bayley continued. “It’s really going to be
a stunning experience.”
In addition, Royal Caribbean announced the launch of
resident ticket sales for Royal Beach Club Santorini. Residents may book the
Royal Beach Club Santorini experience in person at the Beach Club.
An online booking platform will also be available beginning
at the end of May, allowing residents to book digitally. Once online booking
becomes available, an additional 8% booking platform fee will apply to digital
reservations.
“A truly memorable part of exploring destinations around the
world is building genuine connections with the communities we visit,” Royal
Caribbean Group chairman and CEO Jason Liberty said. “That’s why we are
thrilled to open our doors and welcome the wonderful people of Santorini to
Royal Beach Club Santorini to experience the ultimate beach day with Greek
cultural touches.”
