Delta Extends Ticket Validity Through Year-End 2023

Delta says it is giving customers more flexibility in their travel plans by extending the validity of eCredit through year-end 2023.

Effective Jan. 12, all existing eCredit holders will have an additional year of flexibility for rebooking and traveling. Customers will be able to rebook their ticket by Dec. 31, 2023, for travel throughout 2024.

In more news from the carrier, Delta says that the impact of Omicron on its operations is beginning to wane.

"Delta's operation stabilized over the past week," the airline stated, "with significantly fewer disruptions to our flight schedule, most of which were attributed to winter weather."

Delta announced its financial results for the most recent quarter and full-year 2021 last week. CEO Ed Bastian was positive in announcing the numbers.

"2021 was a year like no other for Delta, with significant progress in our recovery supported by growing brand preference, enabling us to be the only major U.S. airline to deliver profitability across the second half of the year," Bastian said.
