Air Canada has introduced a temporary goodwill policy offering flexible rebooking options for passengers impacted by the planned industrial action in Belgium on November 26, 2025.

The policy applies to all itineraries to, from, or via Brussels (BRU) on Air Canada ticket stock (014) issued on or before November 11, 2025, with original travel dates between November 25 and November 26, 2025.

Affected customers are permitted one free change under the policy guidelines, provided the change is made at least two hours before departure.

Rebooking is available for travel between November 24 and December 3, 2025, on flights operated by Air Canada (AC), United Airlines (UA), or Lufthansa Group (LHG) carriers, in any booking class within the same cabin as originally ticketed.

According to Air Canada, change fees will be waived, and additional fare differences (ADCOL) will not apply within the rebooking window. Outside that period, standard fare rules will apply.

Passengers wishing to change their origin or destination may do so with the change fee waived, though any applicable fare difference will apply.

For travel agencies and call centres processing affected bookings, Air Canada advises using the endorsement “ACABRUNOV25” when exchanging tickets issued through a GDS. Endorsements are not required for bookings issued through NDC, AC Connex, or ADO.

Refunds will be handled according to fare rules, and Aeroplan members are asked to contact Aeroplan directly for assistance.

Air Canada also reminded agents that in the event of flight cancellations, procedures outlined in the carrier’s Schedule Change or Flight Disruption Policy should be followed.
