Air Canada announced it will extend its partnership with The Landline Company – a luxury motorcoach service – to link the Ontario communities of Muskoka, Niagara, and Sarnia to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) as of June 15.
More frequent service will also be provided on the existing Landline routes for Kingston (as of May 1) and Kitchener-Waterloo (as of June 15).
As the busy summer travel season gets underway, Landline will offer 26 daily departures to and from YYZ – Air Canada’s global hub – spanning six Ontario communities. Onboard bus features include free wifi, spacious leather seating, power outlets, and accessibility for travellers with limited mobility.
“Customers greatly enjoy the comforts of Landline’s luxury motorcoaches, which make it easy for them to connect seamlessly between their regional airports and Toronto Pearson,” said Ranbir Singh, Director, Regional Airlines and Markets at Air Canada. “The addition of Niagara, Sarnia and Muskoka to our network will not only make it easier for their residents to travel with us but should also benefit these communities by facilitating inbound personal, tourist and business travel from around the world.”
“We are proud to extend our relationship with Air Canada and support the continued growth of its Ontario network,” added Nick Johnson, Vice President, Commercial at Landline. “Travellers can now book communities like Niagara, Muskoka and Sarnia just as easily as a short-haul connecting flight, with seamless booking, loyalty earning and full itinerary protection.”
Air Canada passengers travelling with Landline can print boarding passes and bag tags at their regional airport and ready their luggage to travel through to their final destination. Aeroplan members get points for both ground and air segments.
