Aeroplan members can now earn points for restaurant reservations, culinary events and DINR Premium memberships as Air Canada expands its partnership with Canadian dining reservation platform DINR.
The expanded partnership introduces new earning opportunities for Aeroplan members who purchase a DINR Premium membership, including points for completed restaurant reservations and select culinary experiences.
The changes build on the strategic partnership between Aeroplan and DINR, first announced in October 2025.
“Air Canada has long championed exceptional culinary experiences that connect Canadians with memorable dining moments,” said Scott O’Leary, Vice President, Loyalty and Product at Air Canada. “Aeroplan’s partnership with DINR helps Aeroplan Members go from discovering remarkable restaurants to experiencing them firsthand, while earning rewards along the way.”
How Members Can Earn Aeroplan Points
Under the expanded partnership, Aeroplan members who sign up for DINR Premium can earn:
- 1,000 bonus Aeroplan points when purchasing a DINR Premium membership
- 100 Aeroplan points for every eligible, completed restaurant reservation made through DINR Premium.
- Additional Aeroplan points on select culinary events and experiences purchased through the platform.
DINR Premium also provides priority reservations at participating restaurants, including access to select same-day availability and reservations not otherwise offered through standard booking channels.
Members can receive personal booking assistance for difficult-to-secure tables, early access to DINR Supper Club dinners and opportunities to purchase tickets to private dining events, chef collaborations and culinary retreats.
The membership also includes restaurant recommendations, chef profiles and other culinary content.
“DINR Premium was built to fundamentally change how people experience the best of Canadian hospitality,” said Jennifer Tremblay, CEO of DINR.
“Our Premium Members already enjoy first access to some of the country’s most sought-after restaurants and culinary experiences, personal booking assistance for hard-to-get tables, and a growing collection of benefits across dining, travel and lifestyle. We’re proud to be the first and only dining reservation platform to offer Aeroplan points, adding another powerful layer of value for our community. It’s not just an incredibly exciting step for our DINR Premium Members, but also for the industry, giving Canada’s best restaurants a differentiated platform that rewards discovery and loyalty, drives engagement and connects them with one of the country’s most valuable communities of travelers and diners.”
Dining Rewards at Home and Abroad
The expanded partnership gives Aeroplan members another way to collect points beyond flights and traditional travel purchases, whether dining locally or seeking restaurant experiences while travelling.
To participate, Aeroplan members must register with DINR and upgrade to a DINR Premium membership. Points are awarded on eligible transactions and completed reservations, subject to program terms and conditions.
Sign up online or download the DINR app and upgrade to DINR Premium to unlock these benefits and begin earning Aeroplan points. More information here: www.aircanada.com/DINR.
