In the latest episode of You Came to the Right Place, Natasha Lair and Jen Mallia sit down with Matt DeWitt, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Americas for Hurtigruten.
From the growing popularity of “coolcations” to the appeal of Northern Lights adventures, DeWitt shares what advisors need to know about selling Norway, including the differences between Hurtigruten's Original and Signature voyages, opportunities for solo travellers and what's ahead for the Canadian market.
And there's more to the experience than the scenery.

“About 80% of what you're eating on ship is coming from the local communities that you're visiting,” DeWitt explains, describing how the ships source fresh ingredients along the coast.
And in The Pulse Check, DeWitt reveals the cruise industry jargon he'd love to see disappear, why packing light is easier said than done, and why the best travel experiences happen when you ditch the checklist and embrace a little spontaneity.
And as for whether -20 degrees is too cold for a vacation? Natasha has thoughts.
“Don't threaten me with a regular old Tuesday.”
