Calling all travel advisors who are Bob Marley fans.
The Jamaica Tourism Board has just announced a contest celebrating the life of the legendary singer on the anniversary of his 80th birthday. And those who have their Marley lyrics down pat stand to win an expense-paid trip to the sun-soaked country.
But if scoring a trip to Jamaica is on your to-do list, you’ll need to act fast. The “One Love” contest, as it has been dubbed, is only open until February 28.
So what’s involved exactly?
To participate in the contest, you must correctly identify the lyrics to 10 iconic Marley songs listed on the sweepstakes website page here.
You’ll be asked to answer questions like:
What song has the line, 'Now the weak must get strong, they say oh what a tribulation’?
And...
What song features the line, 'I see 10,000 chariots and they coming without horses'?
Those who know their Marley lyrics best and answer all of questions correctly will be entered for a chance to win the grand prize.
Here’s what that involves:
- 3 nights for two with breakfast at the newly-renovated Courtleigh Hotel & Suites
- 2 passes to the new Kingston City Guided Tour
- 2 return air tickets to Kingston courtesy of Flair Airlines
- 2 passes to Club Kingston departure service
Again, to be eligible, you must enter by February 28. The contest winner will be announced March 10.
