Free Checked Bags Return to Sunwing Vacations Packages

Sunwing Vacations has reinstated its free first checked baggage policy starting today for travel departing November 25, 2025, following feedback from customers and travel partners. All-inclusive vacation packages will now include one checked bag and one carry-on per person, applying to both new and existing bookings.

Customers who previously paid for their first checked bag will receive a $100 future travel voucher per round-trip bag purchased. Travel agents will receive these vouchers via email to forward to clients, with no action required on their part. For travellers with future bookings who have not prepaid for baggage, a free checked bag will automatically be added.

“Travel advisors can now share this added value with clients during Sunwing’s Black Friday sales and beyond,” the company said in an email, noting that the change ensures customers receive the complete all-inclusive experience they expect.
