Canadians Weigh In: Air Canada Vacations Opens Voting for Travellers’ Top Picks Awards

Air Canada Vacations announced the launch of its second edition of Travellers’ Choice Awards.

Voting opened April 13 and runs through June 30, 2026, giving travellers the chance to select their top destinations across 10 categories, from beach getaways and city breaks to wellness retreats and family travel.

The program follows last year’s inaugural edition, which drew more than 100,000 votes.

“We're thrilled to be back with the 2nd edition of our Travellers' Top Picks Awards celebrating the unique experiences and cherished memories Canadians create with Air Canada Vacations each year,” said Nino Montagnese, Vice President of Air Canada Vacations.

“Driven by Canadians' passion for exploration, last year's awards drew over 100,000 votes with travellers sharing their personal stories and experiences, inspiring others to help uncover the very best destinations Air Canada Vacations has to offer from across the globe.”

In addition to voting, participants can enter a contest for a chance to win $5,000 in Air Canada eGift Cards toward a future trip.

According to the company, the goal is to highlight both well-known destinations and lesser-known spots that resonate with Canadian travellers.

The contest is open to Canadian residents who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory. No purchase is necessary to enter, and a skill-testing question is required.
