Collette is expanding its African Safari Collection, adding new itineraries and experiences as interest in safari travel continues to rise.
The guided tour operator, which has been operating in Africa for more than 30 years, said the collection is designed to help travel advisors meet growing demand for wildlife-focused and culturally immersive travel experiences across the continent.
The portfolio includes itineraries throughout East and Southern Africa, ranging from introductory safari experiences to more extensive multi-country journeys.
“As demand for safari grows, advisors want partners they can trust to deliver exceptional experiences,” said Jaclyn Leibl-Cote, president and CEO of Collette.
“Our teams on the ground bring deep regional knowledge and a passion for travel, creating itineraries advisors can recommend with confidence.”
According to the company, its itineraries are developed by local teams with expertise in wildlife viewing seasons, regional travel patterns and destination logistics. Tours combine game-viewing opportunities with cultural experiences, community visits and accommodations ranging from lodges to tented camps.
Collette said its safari products are designed to appeal to travellers seeking a broader destination experience beyond traditional wildlife viewing.
The company also highlighted features aimed at supporting travel advisors, including its Travel Protection Plan, which allows cancellation up to 24 hours before departure, and 24/7 emergency support during travel.
“We’ve always believed a successful safari is about more than wildlife sightings,” said Ana Rooney, vice president of tour design and operations.
“It’s about creating journeys that feel personal, well-paced, and deeply connected to the destination. That resonates with travelers and helps advisors build retention in their business.”
The expanded collection includes updated accommodations, additional inventory in destinations such as Namibia and Kruger National Park, and more cultural and conservation-focused experiences.
