Transcend Cruises, a pioneer in charter-only experiential European river cruising for the global group and MICE market, today announced the promotion of Kimberly Daley from Chief Operating Officer to President. The announcement was made by Transcend’s newly appointed CEO, Edie Rodriguez.
Daley joined Transcend in 2022, initially as an advisor to the company. She most recently served as Chief Operating Officer, a role she has held since October 2025, and previously as Chief Revenue Officer. In her new role as President, she will work in collaboration with Rodriguez, the executive leadership team and the board of directors to position Transcend for its next phase of growth and fleet expansion.
“I am thrilled as one of my first tasks as CEO, to announce a well-deserved promotion for one our most exceptional team members, Kimberly to the role of President. She has been the driving force in successfully launching the Transcend brand as a positive disruptor in the river cruise space and our first ship, Connect as well as growing our team and building sales for the company. As we continue to position the company for future growth and expansion, it’s fantastic to have someone as qualified and experienced as Kimberly to step into the role of President,” said Rodriguez.
Prior to joining Transcend, Daley ran her own consulting company, Daley & Company, providing strategic consulting services to large-scale corporations, start-ups and non-profits. Before that, she served as President and CEO of MT Sobek and Senior Vice President of Sale Strategy for Pleasant Holidays. She serves on the board of ATTA (Adventure Travel Trade Association) and is Chair of CREST (Center for Responsible Travel).
With Daley as President, Transcend is positioned to accelerate its fleet expansion and strengthen its role as the leader in charter-only river cruising for the global group market.
“Transcend was built on a simple idea: groups deserve a river cruise designed entirely around them,” said Daley. “I’m honored to lead the company into its next chapter alongside Edie and our talented team as we expand our fleet and bring this experience to more partners around the world.”
