Two New Resorts to Open in Greece

Greece is getting a new groove with new resorts being developed from Crete to Rhodes, proving that the ancient isles are still as iconic as ever. 

Hilton celebrated the opening of the Hilton Chania Old Town Resort & Spa in Crete this week, offering a year-round resort destination just a five-minute walk from the historic Old Town. The resort includes family-friendly accommodations across 85 rooms and suites, with private balconies and a heated pool. 

Guests of the resort will enjoy sweeping Aegean Sea views, a rooftop infinity pool, botanical garden, spa and wellness center, fitness facilities, several dining concepts and flexible event spaces.

MGallery Collection Heads to Rhodes

Accor’s portfolio of boutique hotels, MGallery Collection, and family-owned hospitality company Colossos SA, will bring a new adults-only resort to Rhodes, opening in the spring of next year. 

MGallery Rhodes will be located in scenic Kallithea, offering beautiful ocean views and organic, modern design, including a distinctive ten-story building with a spiral silhouette. Guests can enjoy sea views in every one of its 222 rooms, suites and bungalows, with a selection of 50 different pools to enjoy throughout the resort. 

The property will boast native plants, olive trees, lavender, rosemary and others to create a fragrant sense of place. Four specialty restaurants and one fine dining venue will be located on-property, along with several drinking venues. 

Wellness offerings include a large spa, outdoor fitness center, exercise routes, paddle courts and more. The resort will also prioritize sustainability.
