B-Corp-certified tour operator Intrepid Travel has expanded its 2027 itineraries, adding over 80 new trips across several categories, including active adventures, family trips, shorter trips and trips made specifically for young adults.
The new trips include over 50 new destinations, such as northern Thailand’s Mae Hong Son region, which travelers can visit on the 14-day Hidden Gems of Thailand itinerary, or Safranbolu, Kastamonu, Samsun and Trabzon on the 12-day Turkey Black Sea Adventure.
While many of the new itineraries take travelers to far-flung locales, Intrepid is also expanding its trip offerings closer to home, spurred by growth, with Canadian journey bookings increasing 46% in 2025.
The tour operator is adding four new destinations across North and Central America, including Guanacaste in Costa Rica, Matagalpa in Nicaragua, the Yukon territory in Canada and several places in Mexico.
New trips include special styles, with cycling adventures in New Zealand and Rwanda, budget-conscious trips for those who want to save while traveling the world, and trips for young adults to connect over doing what they love.
“Travelers are looking for more meaningful ways to explore, whether that’s discovering lesser-known places, travelling close-to-home, getting out in nature or finding experiences that fit different life stages and interests,” said Erica Kritikides, General Manager of Experiences at Intrepid Travel. “Developed in close collaboration with our local teams, our new trips respond to these evolving preferences, offering immersive experiences for travellers while helping to spread the benefits of responsible tourism more widely across local communities.”
