London Hits the Right Note with New Hard Rock Hotel

Canada’s first Hard Rock Hotel (HRH) is set to open in London, Ontario at 100 Kellogg’s Lane. The hotel, with its showstopping 30-foot guitar centrepiece feature, is part of the planned entertainment district being developed on the site of an old cereal factory. 

“Locally sourced materials and craftsmanship play a major role in the hotel’s character, from custom stonework and millwork to locally commissioned artwork.” states the project description, reported by ConstructConnect.

The first phase of the hotel has 164 rooms, with a second phase that will expand the room count to 353. The property will have three on-site dining outlets, stores (including the branded Rock Shop) and family-friendly rooms with bunk-beds. 

According to Hotel Report, sustainability has been top-of-mind during the build, with energy-efficient lighting and plumbing systems integrated into the design.

“What truly sets this property apart is the extraordinary amount of custom work that has gone into its design. Every aspect of the hotel has been thoughtfully tailored to fit within the existing building, blending modern luxury with the rich history of 100 Kellogg Lane,” explains the project description.
