"We know that Canadians are intrepid and adventurous travelers who appreciate all that Fiji has to offer - sunshine as well as cultural richness. We also know that Canadians afford longer trips than Americans for example and enjoy more time in the sun, also during our traditional low season which runs from January to March. Canadians are traveling more consistently and for longer."
3. Will the new direct flight from Vancouver operate year-round?
"The new direct flight between Canada and Fiji has been operating from Vancouver to Fiji twice a week year-round since November 25. Canadians can therefore leave on a Friday and return the following Friday or Monday, for a stay of a week or ten days. We are aiming for an average stay of 10 days or two weeks for our Canadian travelers."
4 . Would you say Fiji is a great option for travelers who have visited Hawaii before and want more?
"In effect. Fiji offers incredible value for travelers looking for beach, adventure, culture, romance or a family vacation that combines the outdoors and water activities."

"The bottom line is that Fiji offers the opportunity to experience and soak up the vibrant Fijian culture and Bula spirit that all visitors will experience very quickly upon arrival. Fijians are incredibly welcoming and, at the end of the trip, you are part of one big Fiji family."
Recall that Fiji Airways and the Fiji Tourist Board launched a new direct flight from Canada on November 25, which connects Nadi and Vancouver twice a week. This is the first direct connection between our two countries for more than 14 years.
