- Beaches Barbados, a 600-room family resort from Sandals, will break ground in 2025, offering beachfront suites and family-friendly amenities.
- Apes Hill Barbados is introducing the “Little Apes” 9-hole golf course this spring, along with new sea-view villas, private chef experiences, and a wellness-focused partnership with Oyogo.

History and Heritage
In Spring 2025, Barbados will mark a historic milestone with the opening of the Barbados Heritage District in Christ Church. This landmark site will include a memorial, museum, and research institute dedicated to honouring the island’s enslaved ancestors. The launch coincides with the 400th anniversary of British arrival and leads up to Barbados’ 60th anniversary of independence in 2026.

The island invites visitors to We Gatherin’, a year-long cultural homecoming with monthly festivals, performances, and culinary showcases across Barbados’ parishes.
