Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions have announced the
introduction of 30 new travel itineraries.
Designed to put local people and their stories at the heart
of travel, the newest
itineraries include 24 National Geographic Journeys with G Adventures and
six updated National Geographic Family Journeys with G Adventures.
Journeys: Wildlife of the Galapagos Islands
This eight-day trip through northern Thailand includes a Khantoke
dinner with a local family in their home, sitting with monks at Wat Phra That
Doi Suthep after evening chanting, and local instructors at a traditional
cooking class. Travelers have the opportunity to swim in the vibrant pools of
Erawan Waterfall, hike through the lush jungle trails of Kanchanaburi and cross
the River Kwai on the historic Death Railway.
Journeys: Iconic Christmas Markets
Central Europe is famous for its holiday magic, and this
eight-day trip uncovers a side of the destination only accessed through the
eyes of those who live here. Travelers will cook alongside a local chef in a
Prague kitchen, learn family recipes passed down through generations, then sit
down for schnitzel among locals. In Budapest, travelers will dine at a
community café dedicated to social inclusion for people with disabilities, then
ride a vintage tram together through the glow of Christmas lights. Additional

This eight-day journey through France’s most renowned wine
regions explores Château de Chenonceau alongside a local historian who reveals
its royal past, then wander through its classic gardens and rooms. Along the
way, travelers will meet with winemakers and taste vintage wines shaped by
their family's generations of experience. From cruising the Cher past fairytale
châteaux to descending into Saint-Émilion's ancient catacombs, this journey is

Peru Family Journey: The Amazon & Machu Picchu
Designed to bring families closer to Peru’s people, wildlife
and history, this nine-day adventure combines hands-on learning with iconic
experiences. Naturalist guides lead nighttime wildlife walks and
caiman-spotting cruises in the Amazon, while members of the Cuyo Chico
community teach families the art of ceramic painting. At the Parwa community restaurant,

Southeast Asia Family Journey: Halong Bay and Angkor Wat
On this 12-day family adventure through Southeast Asia, families
learn the skills behind Cambodia’s Phare Circus from its performers, make
noodles with STREETS International instructors in Hanoi and discover
traditional farming and Vietnamese cooking with a host family in Tra Que
Village. On a Halong Bay cruise, parents and kids make authentic Vietnamese
