Royal Caribbean’s Royal Beach Club Paradise Island has officially opened in Nassau, welcoming its first guests on Dec. 23.

The beach club debuted just days after a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Bahamian government officials, community members, and Royal Caribbean executives.

Construction on the project began in April 2024.

Vacationers visiting Nassau can now purchase all-inclusive day passes through Royal Caribbean for access to the destination and its amenities.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island offers an all-inclusive beach day with access to two beaches, three pools, and multiple dining and bar venues. Highlights include The Floating Flamingo, billed as the world’s largest swim-up bar, located in Party Cove, as well as a range of family-focused and quieter areas across the property.

“Guests told us they were looking for more ways to make the most of their vacations in The Bahamas, and that's exactly what we've created with Royal Beach Club Paradise Island. Whether it's a chill day on the island's two pristine beaches or the ultimate beach party at the world's largest swim-up bar, we've crafted a destination that caters to every mood,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean.

“The opening of our first Royal Beach Club introduces a bold new kind of beach experience, and it's just the start of what's to come in our growing destination portfolio.”

The beach club is divided into three main areas:

* Family Beach, featuring The Shallow End zero-entry pool, beach games, and the Ultimate Family Cabana, a two-level cabana with a private whirlpool, slide, drink machine, and attendant service.
* Chill Beach, where guests can relax on the beach or at The Deep End pool, with swim-up bar service and optional cabana rentals.
* Party Cove, home to The Floating Flamingo swim-up bar and The Party Deck, which offers reservable private spaces for groups.

The all-inclusive experience includes unlimited food at three beach grills, drinks at 10 bars, lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels, lockers, Wi-Fi, and roundtrip transportation via water ferries.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island was developed through a public-private partnership with the Bahamian government. Royal Caribbean says the project supports local employment and incorporates Bahamian elements throughout the destination, including design, entertainment, artisan shops, and food offerings.

The opening adds to Royal Caribbean’s portfolio of private destinations in The Bahamas, which includes Perfect Day at CocoCay. The cruise line has also announced future openings of Royal Beach Club Cozumel and Royal Beach Club Santorini in 2026, Royal Beach Club Lelepa in early 2027, and Perfect Day Mexico later in 2027.

Additional details on day passes and packages are available through Royal Caribbean.
