Adventure Canada has announced the eight itineraries the Ocean Victory will sail in 2027. The routes will sail through the Northwest Passage, the Canadian Arctic, Greenland and the Celtic nations of the North Atlantic.
Two of the itineraries are brand new for Adventure Canada: East Greenland: Stories of Ice and Light, a 14-day exploration along Greenland’s eastern coastline from Kangertittivaq (Scoresby Sound), where few ships visit, to the capital city of Nuuk, and the nine-day Ireland and the Celtic Shores: Wildlife, Culture & Coastal Wonder, which starts and ends in Troon (Glasgow), circling Ireland, with stops at various islands and along the Welsh coast.
“Complementing our previously announced Ocean Nova line-up, these journeys carry our spirit of exploration forward, with each inviting a deeper relationship with place – where stories, landscapes, and communities meet,” says Cedar Swan, CEO of Adventure Canada. “This holds especially true with our two new expeditions for Ocean Victory – one that traces the ice-carved fjords of East Greenland, and the other the green, music-filled coasts of Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. Together, they capture the essence of the North Atlantic: vast yet intimate, wild yet profoundly human.”
The Ocean Victory is the newest in the Adventure Canada fleet. The ship was built with a focus on sustainability, using “X-BOW” technology for smoother and more fuel-efficient sailing. It has capacity for 175 passengers in its ocean-view cabins.
The other 2027 expeditions aboard Ocean Victory are:
- Scotland and Faroes: Isles and Wonders (May 5-17)
- Heart of the Arctic (Aug. 2-14)
- Baffin Island and Greenland: Circling the Midnight Sun (Aug. 14-25)
- Into the Northwest Passage (Aug. 25-Sept.10)
- Out of the Northwest Passage (Sept. 10-26)
- Greenland & Wild Labrador: A Torngat Mountains Adventure (Sept. 26-Oct. 10)
