Flight Centre owned Corporate Traveller has unveiled what it calls "the ultimate" SME Travel Toolkit to give start-up and mid-market business owners a helping hand as they adapt to the new normal and begin travelling again.
Corporate Traveller focuses on the small- and mid-sized business travel market with more than 1,500 team members serving over 16,000 customers around the world. The company says it has tapped three decades of industry expertise to compile this complimentary resource.
Available to read and download via the Corporate Traveller website, the 10-part monthly series tackles the most pressing concerns for SMEs. The SME Travel Toolkit works to address the myths of managed travel programs by taking readers through the benefits of enlisting a business travel pro that can be trusted and relied upon.
Chris Lynes, President of Corporate Traveller for the Americas, notes that many are faced with a new set of challenges, especially when trying to navigate international travel in the pandemic-era.
"Travelling today is a far different experience than before the global pandemic. This is particularly true for SMEs who were previously looking after their own travel needs. With destination rules and restrictions in a constant state of flux, many companies are struggling to stay on top of the latest developments around the world."
The company says SMEs are playing a central role in fuelling post-pandemic recovery and spearheading the return of the business traveller. Corporate Traveller reports a bookings uplift of close to 20% per cent month-over-month in January, boosted by travel restrictions beginning to ease both domestically and internationally.
"It's clear that the desire for in-person meetings has increased as restrictions begin easing worldwide, but so has the complexity involved with travelling," says Lynes. "Corporate Traveller's new SME Travel Toolkit is specifically designed to share our deep industry knowledge to help start-up to mid-market business owners decide how to plan and travel easily and safely."
