Canadian Tire Corporation and WestJet have announced a long-term partnership that will allow members of their respective loyalty programs—Triangle Rewards and WestJet Rewards—to link accounts and earn benefits across both platforms starting in early 2026.
According to the airline, the partnership aims to give Canadians more value from everyday purchases and travel expenses by allowing them to collect both Canadian Tire Money and WestJet points simultaneously.
Members will be able to link their loyalty accounts and benefit from offers and promotions when shopping at Canadian Tire, SportChek, Mark's, and other participating stores, or when booking WestJet flights and vacation packages.
Customers who use a Triangle Mastercard or WestJet RBC Mastercard will also see accelerated earn rates across both networks.
Additionally, WestJet Rewards members will gain the option to convert points into Canadian Tire Money, offering greater flexibility in how rewards can be redeemed.
John Weatherill, Group Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at WestJet, said the collaboration represents a significant opportunity.
"We are thrilled to bring our WestJet flights and vacation packages into the Triangle Rewards program and excited that our WestJet Rewards members will soon be able to earn WestJet points on their everyday purchases at CTC banners; helping them get closer to their next trip."
