Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) announced a long-term agreement with Rogers Communications, setting the stage for a series of passenger-focused technology upgrades.Planned enhancements include updated business pods equipped with new technology, expanded portable charging solutions and new sports and entertainment experiences throughout the terminals.“We’re building on our strong relationship with Toronto Pearson to bring even more innovation, connectivity and entertainment to improve the overall passenger experience,” said Tony Staffieri, President and CEO, Rogers.As part of the agreement, Rogers will introduce interactive touchpoints for travellers and work with Pearson on future operational and customer service initiatives.

The rollout of the new features is expected to begin later this year and will be introduced in phases.
