YYZ has received international recognition for passenger experience and staff service, earning awards from both Airports Council International (ACI) World and the Skytrax World Airport Awards.The airport was named “Best Airport Staff in North America” by Skytrax, marking the first time Toronto Pearson has received the distinction. The award reflects customer feedback on staff service across the airport experience.Pearson also secured top honours from ACI World through its Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program, winning “Best Airport at Departures: Over 40 Million Passengers in North America.” The award recognizes service and overall passenger experience at large, high-volume airports.

It has also received ASQ Customer Experience Awards for three consecutive years, following a previous five-year streak from 2017 to 2021.“These awards are a global round of applause for each of our employees dedicated to delivering excellent customer experience, day and night at Toronto Pearson,” said Deborah Flint, President and CEO, Toronto Pearson. ACI’s ASQ program is widely used across the aviation industry to measure passenger satisfaction, based on feedback collected from travellers at airports worldwide.
