Porter Takes off for The Bahamas

Porter Airlines has launched its inaugural flight from Toronto Pearson (YYZ) to Nassau, Bahamas (NAS). The schedule will ramp up over the next few weeks, leading to daily flights by Dec. 12, 2025. It’s part of Porter’s sun destination drive, which includes flights from Canada to vacation hotspots in Mexico, Costa Rica and Cayman Islands.

The Toronto flight is the first for Porter to head to The Bahamas, but it’s only the start for what the airline has planned for the season. Nonstop service from Ottawa begins on Dec. 13, and  from Montreal on Feb. 5, 2026.
