Porter Airlines is expanding its 2025-2026 winter schedule, increasing flights to southern destinations by up to 25% during peak travel periods and launching four new routes, including its first-ever transborder service from Vancouver.
The airline announced it will begin non-stop flights from Vancouver (YVR) to Phoenix (PHX) on February 2, 2026.
Ottawa (YOW) will also see new routes to two major American Airlines hubs – Phoenix and Miami – supporting cross-border connectivity as part of Porter’s codeshare partnership with American Airlines.

“Our updated winter schedule represents a major expansion of Porter’s network due to the strong response from customers for our new and existing sun markets. We are supporting this demand with new routes and increased frequency on existing popular destinations,” said Kevin Jackson, president, Porter Airlines.
“We are committed to bringing our elevated economy experience to more travellers by connecting key gateways with sun destinations at the time of year when these trips are most valued by Canadians. This growth is about offering more choices, more convenience, and the outstanding service our passengers have come to expect from Porter.”
