So long Music City! In response to fewer travellers heading to the U.S., Flair Airlines is making some changes to its transborder schedule.
“At Flair, we continually review and adjust our network based on consumer demand, deploying our fleet to provide the most affordable, reliable air travel to the destinations our passengers want to explore,” Kim Bowie, Director of Communications told TravelPulse Canada.
Presently, that means the budget airline is cancelling its Toronto Pearson to Nashville route. Additionally, seasonal routes between Phoenix Sky Harbor and Calgary and Edmonton will end earlier than expected, on April 8, 2025, while Vancouver - Phoenix will end April 22, 2025.
The Vancouver - Las Vegas route will end mid-June.
Service between Vancouver and Los Angeles and Vancouver and San Francisco remains unchanged, as does the Toronto to JFK New York route.
On the other hand, Flair is increasing service within Canada. Service out of Saint John, NB is restarting earlier than anticipated, and added a new route between Toronto and Charlottetown. Reallocating resources to domestic routes is a move that Bowie says is “offering exciting opportunities for Canadians and travellers to explore Canada from coast to coast.”
