Flair Sets Out Early from Saint John

There will be more options for travel between New Brunswick and Toronto this spring, as Flair Airline launches its route two months early. 

Originally expected to begin mid-June, the Saint John Airport (YSJ) and Flair announced the first flight would be April 25, 2025.

“We’re excited to be reconnecting Saint John and Toronto this spring, with our first flight taking off on April 25,” said Eric Tanner, VP of Commercial, Flair Airlines. “Making travel between New Brunswick and Ontario more affordable and accessible is what we do, and we’re proud to help more Canadians experience Saint John’s beauty, history, and hospitality.” 

The change comes as airlines adjust to shifting demand among Canadian travellers. “As Flair is growing, they only have a certain amount of aircraft and they’ll position them to whatever routes seem to work well for them,” YSJ spokesperson Lori Carle told the Telegraph-Journal. “They’re restructuring a little bit of their scheduling and that’s worked out well in our favour.”
