The union representing Flair’s 270 pilots announced that 89 percent of its members voted to ratify a new contract. The agreement negotiated by the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) and the airline over the past 10 months will be in effect for the next three years. It takes effect immediately.

According to ALPA, the contract holds meaningful improvements to compensation, retirement, scheduling, career progression and overall quality of life.

“This agreement reflects the strength and solidarity our pilots demonstrated over more than ten months of negotiations,” says First Officer Aimee Wintle, chair of the Flair Master Executive Council. “Our pilots stood together with a clear goal: to secure an agreement that recognizes their professionalism, improves their quality of life, and positions Flair pilots for long-term success. Today’s result is a testament to the power of a unified pilot group.”

Wintle thanked the Negotiating Committee, Master Executive Council and all the Flair pilots for standing together. “The strength and solidarity shown by our membership over the past ten months were instrumental in achieving this result,” she says.
