Air Canada is expanding its winter sun network for the 2025-26 season, announcing its largest-ever Latin America schedule.

According to a press release, the updated winter program offers 16% more seat capacity than last year and introduces four new destinations: Rio de Janeiro, Cartagena, Guatemala City, and Guadalajara.

The carrier will also launch 13 new routes and boost frequencies to several existing sun destinations across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Mexico.

In total, Air Canada will operate more than 55 daily flights and offer over 80,000 seats weekly to the region.

“Air Canada is delivering on its New Frontiers strategy with the expansion of its Latin America presence this winter," said Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer, and President, Cargo at Air Canada. “We are excited to be adding Rio de Janeiro, Cartagena, Guatemala City and Guadalajara to our global network.”
