Trevello World Holdings Inc. announced the launch of its U.S. host agency division.
The expansion, which will debut on May 1, 2025, will be led by Erwing Hernandez, an industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience in the travel sector.
“As we continue our expansion into the leading travel market, it’s critical that we have a leader who not only understands this market but is deeply committed to supporting travel advisors,” said Morris Chia, Co-Founder and CEO of Trevello World Holdings.
“Erwing’s extensive experience, leadership, and strategic vision make him the right person to drive our growth while staying true to our mission of redefining the host agency model.”
Hernandez, who held leadership roles at Travel Planners International (TPI) for over twenty years, will oversee Trevello’s U.S. operations, sales, and advisor engagement efforts.
“Trevello’s bold vision and advisor-first approach set it apart in the industry,” said Hernandez.
“With a strong foundation in Canada and a commitment to reshaping the host agency model, we have an incredible opportunity to empower U.S. travel advisors and create new pathways for success. My focus is on building a strong, sustainable framework that allows advisors to build thriving businesses of their own.”
Originally from Venezuela and now based in Orlando, FL, Hernandez holds a degree in Economics from the University of Central Florida and is known for his expertise in advisor support, supplier relations, and business strategy.
Trevello’s expansion follows its recent acquisition of Gifted Travel Network (GTN), which marked its entry into the U.S. market earlier this year. GTN will continue to operate as a separate division under the leadership of Co-Founder and CEO Jen Cochrane.
