How to Become a Belize Specialist

The Travel Agent Academy course is short and sweet and consists of just three chapters.

Chapter 1 focuses on getting to know what Belize is all about. It discusses Belize's multicultural makeup as well as the country's different regions and the abundance of activities and explorations clients may want to undertake while visiting.

This chapter introduces travel advisors to Belize's seven regions as well as the main attractions in each one. After this chapter, advisors will be able to craft the ideal itinerary for their clients having learned about the various options available.

Chapter 3 reviews everything that travel advisors have learned during the course and focuses on putting everything together to create a great trip for clients. The program makes it easy for advisors, providing tour operator and hotel resources and, importantly, sample itineraries in several categories such as high-octane adventures, family fun trips, honeymoons and baby boomers.

In addition to the course, Belize's Specialist Program also features a variety of brochures that include information in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese and German as well as a detailed travel guide.

The full Belize Specialist Course is also offered in Spanish and includes all of the same benefits as the English language program.

Travel advisors who complete on this course, will earn two Continuing Education Units for members of The Travel Institute.
