As travel restrictions begin to ease, Sunwing has moved quickly to meet the expanding demand of customers in the Maritimes by adding another weekly flight between Halifax and Cuba's Varadero.
In addition to weekly flights on Thursdays running through April 30, a Thursday flight will be added beginning March 10 and extending through April 28.
"As the only Atlantic Canada gateway offering flights to Cuba this winter, we're thrilled to be introducing another flight from Halifax to Varadero for our customers in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island to enjoy," commented Andrew Dawson, President of Tour Operations for Sunwing.
"As a Canadian favourite and easy-entry destination, we're seeing pent-up customer demand for vacations to Varadero with increasingly limited availability for the duration of winter, so now is the time to book," Dawson added.
