Goway Travel reports that it has secured exclusive spots in Japan for this spring's cherry blossom season, the first time since before the pandemic that foreign travellers can visit Japan for the 'hanami' season.
Currently, there is almost no availability for foreign travellers, with all tours and accommodations booked up. However, Goway has secured exclusive hotel rooms and tours as well as a dedicated national guide in Japan during this popular time of year.
Goway's Japan Cherry Blossom Odyssey is a 12-day small-group escorted tour that will take travellers to Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Kanazawa and Tokyo. It includes tours of landmarks in these destinations, including Miyajima Island, the Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji), Kaga Onsen, Senso-ji Temple, and the resort town of Hakone outside Mt. Fuji.
The tour also includes three unforgettable cherry blossom viewings: one on Mt. Yoshino in Nara prefecture near Osaka, where over 30,000 cherry trees cover the mountainside; another in Kyoto where the cherry blossoms are illuminated during the evening; and a lunch picnic under cherry trees in Kanazawa.
The tour departs April 4 and is limited to only eight rooms exclusively for Goway travellers. It is on sale until February 10, 2023.
