Since 2004, Goway and Air New Zealand have faced off on the cricket pitch in an annual tradition of partnership and friendly rivalry. For participants and industry guests alike, it’s always a day of fun under the summer sun.
Once again in 2024, the teams gathered at the Toronto Cricket Club for an afternoon match followed by a reception. Air New Zealand’s North America Sales Team flew in from key offices around Canada and the U.S., while over 100 Goway employees attended, bolstered by the company’s significant team growth.

As usual, the event was spearheaded by Anthony Saba, Goway’s VP South Pacific
“Goway is so grateful for our partnership with Air New Zealand and their continued support in this event,” Saba said. “Long-time team members look forward to it, and our new growing teams are excited to be part of the tradition.”
Air New Zealand Account Executive Mason Spencer was the MVP of the match, while Meg Smith, Goway Reservations Supervisor, was the big winner of two Air New Zealand tickets.
“It was a great day and the Air New Zealand Team loved it – even those new to cricket,” Spencer said.
