The Globus family of brands announced the expansion of its team with a focus on supporting Canadian travel advisors.In a press release, the company announced a revised leadership structure, adding business development managers (BDMs), and introducing new inside sales account managers. “With these strategic additions and promotions, the Globus family of brands is doubling down on its commitment to Canadian travel advisors,” said Camille Olivere, chief sales officer for the Globus family of brands. Leadership Restructuring Denise Harper has been promoted to managing director, Canada sales, where she will oversee national and regional partnerships at the head office and consortia levels. Reporting to her, Billy Stewart has been appointed as the national trade sales manager, taking full responsibility for Canada’s BDM team. The restructuring aims to enhance collaboration between the field sales team and agency partners.Expanding the Field Team The company has bolstered its field sales team with two new BDMs: Gina Goranson (British Columbia) and Elaine French (Ontario). Globus now has seven BDMs serving Canadian travel advisors nationwide. The expansion is accompanied by an increased focus on in-person engagement through training sessions, events, and Cruise Director/Tour Director roadshows, particularly benefiting home-based advisors.New Inside Sales Support Roles Globus has introduced two new inside sales account managers:Joanne Fillion (Central & Western Canada) brings 17 years of travel industry sales and advisor training experience.Danielle Friel (Ontario, Quebec & Atlantic Canada) is a travel sales and digital marketing specialist with extensive expertise in advisor support and customer relationship management.Fillion and Friel will work closely with the BDM team to assist agencies with sales and marketing efforts, onboard new advisors, and deliver the tools needed for success.“By continuing to expand our team and enhance our support structure, we’re making it easier for advisors to do business with us. We look forward to building on this momentum and strengthening our partnerships,” Olivere said.
