Contiki unveiled GO WANDER, an initiative the youth-centered tour operator said marks the most significant transformation in its 64-year-plus history.

“The first stage of a multi-year evolution, GO WANDER introduces eight Travel Worlds built around travelers’ personal interests, 76 new trips by the end of the year, including all-new destinations Fiji and the Maldives and a new pricing model with lower rates across the portfolio,” Contiki said.

Travel Worlds provide prospective participants “with clearer, more inspiring ways to find experiences that match how they want to travel, including a host of new trips, greater variety across destinations, trip formats, group experiences, and price points,” the company added/

Here’s a rundown:

• Contiki Originals. These vacations include “iconic trips that made Contiki famous, from the original adventure company born in 1962,” the operator said.

• Contiki Highlights. The category includes curated experiences at iconic destinations and attractions.

• Contiki Lite. The trips are designed for travelers looking for affordable package options.

• Contiki Outdoors. The itineraries explore some of the globe’s most adventurous destinations – and include a generous number of outdoor activities.

• Contiki Islands. As its name implies, the focus here is on island vacations, including destinations such as Greece, Indonesia and the Maldives

• Contiki Festivals. Travelers will have the chance to visit popular, worldwide g music and culture festivals.

• Contiki Luxe. Guests looking for all the bells and whistles can take advantage of Contiki’s collection of luxury vacations.

“GO WANDER is a reinvention of Contiki, inspired by the pioneering spirit that’s been part of our story from the start and reimagined for a new generation of young travelers,” said Contiki Chief Customer Officer Toni Ambler.

“With 76 new trips, eight new travel worlds built around personal interests, and more ways to travel, we’re giving our travel agent partners more opportunities to match their clients with the right adventure – and young people more freedom to explore on their own terms,” she added. “That spirit of discovery comes to life in our new digital experience, making it easier for agents and their clients to explore what’s on offer, find inspiration and turn personal interests into unforgettable travel experiences.”
