A familiar face has returned to Unique Vacations Canada as Richard Todd has been appointed to the newly-created role of Senior Sales Consultant, effective immediately.

No stranger to the Canadian travel industry, Richard originally spent several years as part of the Unique Vacations Canada sales team between 1999 and 2005. He was then promoted and moved to the United States, where he held a number of positions including National Training Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing, West Coast region before leaving the company in 2017 to pursue other endeavours.
A proud Jamaican, Richard first joined the Sandals family in 1991, working in various on-resort roles at several properties on the island prior to receiving a promotion to work out of the Sandals Resorts International corporate office in Montego Bay, before eventually emigrating to Canada in 1999.
In his new position as Senior Sales Consultant, Richard will serve as a high-level resource to both Maureen Barnes-Smith and C.J. Smith, Director of Sales on overall sales strategy and execution for the Canadian market. Working remotely from his home base in London, Ontario, he will also service and support travel advisors in the Southwestern Ontario region - one that he cultivated during his first tenure with the company - to help grow their Sandals and Beaches business.
