The 2022 TravelPulse Canada Readers' Choice Awards in May 2022 were a giant success, and a big part of that was due to Bradley Dean, Partner at Granite Productions located in Toronto and Oakville.
Granite Productions is a full service event management company producing regional, provincial and national turn-key bricks and mortar and online events.
Nearly 300 who's who of the travel industry gathered at SteamWhistle Brewery after a long two years; it was the first TravelPulse Canada Readers' Choice Awards since 2019. It was the party of the decade. (And nobody likes a party more than travel people.)
Catered by the Food Dudes, Title Sponsor Air Canada supplied the the high-flying entertainment for Canada's travel industry's big night - Grammy-nominated, multiple Juno Award-winning Alan Frew of Glass Tiger.
From 'Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone) and 'Someday' with Glass Tiger to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics song 'I Believe' and Toronto Maple Leafs theme song 'Free To Be,' Frew is Canadian music royalty.
"After two years of travel industry events being dormant due to COVID, the Readers' Choice Awards provided the perfect backdrop to reuniting colleages and friends alike," said Dean. "It was time for the industry to reunite in person."
Dean says SteamWhistle Brewery is an excellent place for smaller scale (less than 1000) events and offers guests a unique mix of inside and outside venue options, while set against the Toronto skyline.
"Having the Awards in an iconic and historical venue with the The CN Tower and Rogers Centre in full view, provides guests with a memorable experience in downtown Toronto."
