Joseph Adamo, president of Transat Distribution Canada, was named Personality of the Year at our TravelPulse Canada 2024 Readers Choice Awards on May 16. We asked him a few questions about his well-deserved award!
1. What was your reaction to the announcement that you won the Canadian Travel Industry Personality of the Year award? What does this award mean to you?
I felt profound pride and immense gratitude upon hearing this news. Although this is a personal distinction, I accept it on behalf of our entire team at Transat. Their dedication and passion are the real force behind this success.
This price is particularly significant because it comes from travel agents, with whom we maintain a privileged relationship. This underlines our commitment to working closely with members of this essential network to deliver exceptional travel experiences for our customers. It is a validation of our vision and motivates us to continue to innovate and improve our services to meet the needs of our partners and customers.
2. What did you think of your evening at the 2024 Readers Choice Awards Gala?
The evening of the 2024 Readers Choice Awards Gala was memorable and inspiring. It was fantastic to see so many industry talents coming together to celebrate each other's achievements and successes. I would like to thank TravelPulse for organizing this remarkable event and for the opportunity to share this experience with my colleagues and industry peers.
