John Kirk, Founder and Editor in Chief of TravelPulse Canada and Quebec, is pleased to announce the following changes to our editorial team.
Catherine Maisonneuve, of TravelPulse Quebec, has been named Managing Editor, TPQ. Catherine has been with TravelPulse Quebec since the launch and has been an instrumental part of the company's growth in market. In her new role, she will oversee the Quebec business in addition to its content, as we emerge from the COVID pandemic.
Bruce Parkinson who recently joined the TravelPulse Canada team, will take on the role of Senior Editorial Director for TravelPulse Canada with immediate effect. Bruce joined recently as an associate editor and brings with him over 25 years of Travel industry relationships having covered the business for trade and consumer as a journalist and most recently as EIC.
Alexandra Roy will continue in her role as Senior Editorial Director with TravelPulse Quebec. Marsha Mowers will continue in her role as Director, Content for TravelPulse Canada.
"We're excited to welcome Catherine and Bruce to their new roles with the TravelPulse team," said Kirk. "As we emerge from what was an awful last year and a half for our industry, we're excited to getting back on track and continuing to bring you the best content in the industry."
Parkinson takes over from Jim Byers who has announced he's taking a step back to focus more on his family. Jim Byers is stepping down from his role to semi-retire; spend time with his family, travel, and do some writing. We wish him all the best and want to thank him for his contributions.
