The Travel Agent Next Door has announced that Antje Splettstoesser is returning to the travel industry to take up the role of Marketing Director for Canada's largest host agency effective immediately.
"We are very excited to have Antje join our team," said Flemming Friisdahl, TTAND Founder and CEO. "Having just become 1,000 agents strong, we believe Antje will be a critical part of our leadership team in guiding the company and our agent partners into the post pandemic era. She has a tremendous amount of travel industry experience that we will be able to draw on."
Well-known throughout the Canadian travel industry, Splettstoesser was previously Director, Canada for the German National Tourist office and Vice Chair at the European Travel Commission. She took a break from the travel industry after becoming mother to a baby girl in 2019, although she continued to teach tourism sales and marketing at Humber College. She most recently held a role at the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
"I am excited to return to the travel industry to support the Travel Agent Next Door and their team of agent partners in achieving and exceeding their business goals through targeted and innovative marketing," said Splettstoesser.
