An immersive dining experience is about to debut at one of Canada’s most iconic hotels.
Fairmont Le Château Frontenac announced The Magic Table will begin May 15, 2026.
According to the hotel, the limited-time concept combines projection mapping, storytelling and culinary design to turn a traditional dinner into a multi-sensory, interactive experience. It marks the first time the experience will be offered in Québec.
A dinner designed as a live story
The two-to-three-hour experience uses 3D projections mapped directly onto the table, with each course forming part of a larger narrative. Guests are guided through a fictional world tied to a secret society of magicians, with visual and sound elements shifting throughout the evening.
The experience is hosted digitally by Thommy Ten and Amélie van Tass, known as The Clairvoyants, who gained international recognition through America’s Got Talent and performances in Las Vegas.
The setting is intentionally intimate, with just 52 seats per performance.
“Offering The Magic Table to both our guests and the wider public aligns perfectly with our mission: creating the unforgettable. Every experience we deliver must leave a lasting impression, and this immersive new concept embodies that spirit entirely. We are proud to welcome a creation that transforms a simple meal into a moment of pure wonder,” says Jean-François Vary, General Manager of Fairmont Le Château Frontenac.
Five-course menu tied to the narrative
At the core of the experience is a five-course menu developed by the hotel’s culinary team, with each dish designed to align with the storyline as it unfolds.
Menu highlights include a reimagined beef tartare, nori-wrapped tuna with soy-garlic emulsion and Canard Goulu duck. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available, alongside a dedicated children’s menu for ages six to 12.
Pricing is set at $159 CAD per person for the main experience, with a reduced $79 CAD option for children, excluding service charges and taxes.
Limited run through October
The Magic Table will be hosted at the hotel’s Dufferin restaurant from Thursday to Saturday through October 31, with additional Wednesday seatings offered between July and October.
Two nightly seatings are scheduled at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., with bilingual performances alternating between French and English.
Reservations are now open.
